For Authors
- From 2015 all articles are under CreativeCommons license. If any author will not publish under this license, it must be declared before publishing by E-mail to the CEJ redaction.
- The article should be written in single column and should include:
- Authors
- Affiliation
- Key words
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Main body of the article (methodology, Results, etc.)
- Conclusion
- Reference
- Every article is assighned a digital object identifier (DOI) after publication authorization
- Publishing scientific papers in the journal is FREE of charge
- Authors are responsible for technical content as well as language revision.
- Only contributions in the journal template form will be accepted for the reviewing process.
- Authors are asked to place their first name on the first position.
- The Civil Engineering Journal actively checks for plagiarism using CrossRef.
- The Civil Engineering Journal allow authors to hold the copyright without restrictions.
- Arcticles of the Civil Engineering Journal are reviewed by double blind peer review process.
- Manuscripts are submitted by the redaction email - cej-redaction@cvut.cz.

- Maximum number of pages per manuscript is limited to 15 including tables, figures and references.
- Peer-review process information - The journal has double blind peer-review process that is carried out by the redaction team. Reviewers are international experts in the selected field and they are carefully chosen by editors based on the manuscript’s theme. In order to observe reviewers independence and objectivity reviewers never now authors name and affiliation. An average reviewing process takes about 3-6 months – Within 3-6 months authors will receive first feedback from the redaction team, the final publication then depends on reviewers comment.
